I stuck my head out and looked towards the front of the car. Under the dim headlights, only a few insects were flying around, with no sign of a person.

I pulled my head back and looked out the front window again. The grimacing face was still urging us to get out of the car.

"Wait, she looks familiar. I feel like I've seen her somewhere."

"Now that you mention it, I feel like I've seen her somewhere too."

I forced myself to look at that face, trying to remove the bloodstains in my mind, then let that pale face regain its color... eventually forming a bright and beautiful face.

There was indeed a strange sense of familiarity that warmed my heart, but I couldn't recall where I had seen her.

All four of us knew her. Was she a high school classmate?

"Chen Chao, do you remember now? Who is she?"

I shook my head, "I don't remember."

"I remember!" Li Ping said, "Our local news station reported on her..."

As he spoke, a memory suddenly rushed into my mind.

This woman was called Xue Yani, an out-of-town guest who came as a bridesmaid to attend a local wedding. Unfortunately, she had an accident, broke her spine, became paralyzed from the neck down, and in the hospital, she used her mouth to clamp down on the oxygen tube, committing suicide.

At that time, there were reports suggesting it was due to wedding disturbances, but the bride strongly insisted it was an accident.

Thinking back now, if it was truly an accident, she wouldn't have become a restless spirit seeking out our car.

The two female classmates couldn't help but blame Li Ping, "It's all your fault, always thinking about wedding pranks, attracting her resentment."

Li Ping clasped his hands together and bowed twice to the sister outside the door, "I'm sorry, we only enjoy pranks on the groom's side here, not the bride's side."

The sister outside the car glanced at Li Ping, then suddenly stopped and gazed at me with deep eyes.

I turned the car around, bypassed her, and ran off in a random direction.
