Ever since I got closer to Ling Mountain, my mind has become increasingly chaotic.

First, there was my master's instructions, and then there was the conversation my second senior brother had with me after saving me.

Then there was my eldest senior brother taking me to see our master being bathed in blood, and he warned me not to wander around, clearly helping me leave Ling Mountain.

And then there's my third senior brother, who has already shown his demonic form. Did he become a demon early on, or did he become a demon after reading the demonic scripture?

Thinking about these questions, it was already the middle of the night.

Just at that moment, I suddenly heard the roar of a wild beast coming from a distance.

This Ling Mountain, after my eldest senior brother revealed my divine eye, has once again become a glorious Buddhist holy land.

So why is there the sound of a wild beast?

At that moment, I suddenly remembered my eldest senior brother's warning, but the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to go and see what was going on.

Ultimately, I crossed the threshold of the meditation room and slowly approached the direction where the sound was coming from.

When I reached the area illuminated by the fire, I was shocked and took in a breath of cold air.

I saw all the Buddhas of the Western Heaven showing their demonic forms, veins bulging on their faces, pus and blood flowing, and sharp fangs revealed in their mouths.

The sound of the wild beast was coming from their mouths.

And in the midst of them sat a monk, draped in a yellow monk's robe, his eyes slightly closed, his hands clasped together facing east.

This person is my master, Tang Seng.

In front of him, my eldest senior brother stood side by side with the ten Buddhas, seemingly waiting for words from the Tathagata on the lotus platform.

At this moment, there came a strange voice from the sky, sounding both male and female:

"Vairocana Buddha, you have worked hard on this journey."

As soon as the Tathagata finished speaking, my eldest senior brother raised his palms in a Buddhist gesture and replied, "Buddha, you overpraise. Even if it means being annihilated, what does it matter for the grand cause of our journey to the Western Heaven?"

"Hahaha, good, good, good, what a grand cause in the Western Heaven."

The Tathagata's laughter made my ears ache, but what shocked me even more was that he called my eldest senior brother "Vairocana Buddha".

Vairocana Buddha, the fifth-ranked Buddha in the Western Heaven.

Could it be true, as my second senior brother said, that my eldest senior brother had long since disappeared, and this "Sun Wukong" who accompanied us on the journey to the West was just a transformation of Vairocana Buddha?

In other words, from the beginning to the end, there never was a Six-Eared Macaque, only the great power of Vairocana Buddha.

No wonder True Listener Beast could tell the truth but didn't dare to speak.

At this moment, I heard the Tathagata say:

"But you still have to endure some time, remember to firmly seal Sun Wukong's divine soul within this body. When the situation in the Three Realms is certain, we will completely extinguish the Monkey's spirit and soul."

At this point, the voices of the Buddhas cursed:

"Yes, we must make sure that monkey disappears from the Three Realms."

"If it hadn't caused havoc in the Heavenly Court five hundred years ago and ruined the Peach Banquet, our cultivation wouldn't have been so difficult."

After hearing these words, the Tathagata waved his hand and said, "We must thank this monkey, if it hadn't stolen the elixir and ruined the Peach Banquet, the Heavenly Court gods would not have made such rapid progress in their cultivation, hahaha."

After the Tathagata finished speaking, the Buddhas all burst into manic laughter, their laughter chilling to the bone.

Suddenly, the Tathagata waved his hand, and the voices of the Buddhas ceased abruptly, and the scene immediately returned to silence.

Then the voice of the Tathagata, neither male nor female, sounded again:

"Golden Cicada, although eating your flesh will not make us immortal, it will increase our cultivation by a hundred years. Today is the day you achieve enlightenment."

At this point, my master still had his eyes closed, and he calmly said, "Buddhist cultivators don't care about the heavens or hells. If you want this body, take it. I just have one request."

"Hahaha, speak."

Tang Seng opened his eyes and looked at the Tathagata, saying, "I earnestly request that the Buddha allow me to return to the Eastern Land to complete the transmission of the scriptures, and then I will return to the Western Heaven and offer up this body."

As I heard this, I felt a shock throughout my body and couldn't help but ask in my heart, "Offer up this body? What does that mean? Could it be that these Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are the ones who really want to eat my master?"

Just at that moment, from the lotus platform made up of countless bones, the Tathagata's piercing laughter came:

"Hahaha..."
