The second senior brother took out a jade ruyi from his pocket and chanted a spell. Suddenly, the jade ruyi shimmered brightly and transformed into a golden net that enveloped the two of us.

As we journeyed westward, the second senior brother was either lazy or indifferent. It was unexpected for him to suddenly use magic, which made me feel uneasy.

Before I could ask, the second senior brother explained first:

"Don't look around. This was given by the Grand Supreme Elder. Now, prick up your ears and listen to what I'm about to tell you."

"Okay."

Then, the second senior brother looked towards the east and said unhurriedly:

"Although the Western Heaven has seemingly submitted to the Heavenly Court all these thousands of years, they have always wanted to replace it. However, the Jade Emperor of the Heavenly Court has only achieved the heavenly way after enduring 1.32 billion tribulations. This cultivation of 1.57 billion years is not something those Western Heaven barbaric Buddhas can compare to."

"Second senior brother, does this mean that these Western Heaven Buddhas not only want to cultivate the demonic path themselves, but also want to use us to spread this demonic scripture to the Eastern Land?"

"Yes, but not entirely."

Hearing this, I suddenly remembered what the eldest senior brother said and wanted to test the second senior brother's reaction, so I said:

"No wonder the eldest senior brother said if the scriptures were revealed, we would not be able to leave this Ling Mountain."

But as soon as I finished speaking, the second senior brother immediately sneered:

"Humph, the eldest senior brother? Do you really think he is still the same eldest senior brother as before?"

"What do you mean by that, second senior brother?"

I became somewhat incoherent at this point. Could my guess be correct? But why does the eldest senior brother want to remind me, or rather, does he have the intention of helping us leave Ling Mountain?

Just as the second senior brother was about to reveal the truth to me, the voice of Ananda suddenly came from outside the door:

"Great Pure One, Guangli, the Buddha invites both of you to the main hall to transmit the scriptures."

Hearing the voice, the second senior brother immediately put away his magic tool and casually asked:

"Master, is dinner ready? How can we listen to the Buddha's transmission on an empty stomach?"

Ananda immediately smiled and responded, "It will be arranged soon, it will be arranged soon. Great Pure One's emissary is in charge of offerings, and we will take good care of you in the future."

"Okay, alright, hahaha."

As they laughed heartily, the two of them walked through the corridor towards the main hall.

On the way, we passed by a meditation room, and I suddenly saw a familiar figure.

It was the third senior brother. He was reading scriptures under the lamp, and I noticed that his eyes were even redder. A few veins bulged on his forehead, showing a demonic appearance.

It seemed that the second senior brother also saw this scene and signaled me to leave quickly.

I couldn't help but wonder why Ananda only invited me and the second senior brother, and why the third senior brother did not go to listen to the Buddha's teachings. Could it be that the third senior brother was already one of them, and had long fallen into the demonic path?

Who should I believe? For now, it seems that the second senior brother is slightly more trustworthy.

Lost in thought, we arrived at the main hall. The bodhisattvas and arhats were all seated quietly, and among them, a slim figure stood out - it was the eldest senior brother.

He sat reverently on a cushion with his eyes closed and hands joined together, listening to the Buddha's teachings devoutly.

Because my ears were stuffed with white lotus flowers, I could only see the Buddha's mouth opening and closing, but I couldn't hear what he was saying.

Just then, I suddenly noticed something strange - I looked around and realized that our master was nowhere to be found.
