The atmosphere in the control room was awkwardly stagnant, until the dissatisfied voices of those few people were replaced by repeated banging on the door.

The girl who had just screamed with a crying voice exclaimed, "It seems like this door is about to be knocked open."

I calmly sat in the corner, even changing to a more comfortable posture.

"Do you want a pillow?"

Chen Yun handed me the pillow that was placed on the chair, and I gladly accepted his kindness, lying on the ground with the pillow.

"What should we do? If the zombies come in, we definitely won't be able to escape!"

"Hey, handsome guy, you seem completely unconcerned. Do you have any ideas?" The girl sitting closest to Chen Yun sought his help and looked at him, "Can we still run away?"

Chen Yun crossed his arms and said, "I should be able to run away, as for all of you... I'm not sure."

"Do you have any solutions? Please save me! Please, now there are only a few survivors in the whole city, if we run together, the chances of survival will be higher!"

"Solutions..." Chen Yun winked at me, "My savior is right there, so of course I'm not afraid. You guys don't know, she's amazing, tearing zombies apart, one second per zombie."

I rolled my eyes and ignored him.

The banging on the door grew louder, and the door lock clicked, as if it could collapse at any moment.

I couldn't sit still. I rummaged through the bag of medicines and finally found a small spray bottle.

"Chen Yun, come here." I pulled him over and lowered my voice, "What if I spray my blood out, can it kill the zombies?"

He looked at me with a complicated expression, "You make it sound like some powerful insecticide."

I wanted to undo the bandage he had just wrapped around my wound. "Shall we give it a try?"

"No." Chen Yun stopped me, "If you keep doing this, your wound won't heal, that's your blood, sister."

"Then what should we do?"

Before I could finish my sentence, there was a loud bang, and the door was knocked open.

Chen Yun immediately pulled me up, standing in front of me without hesitation.

He was tall, firmly protecting me behind him, like a barrier that could separate all dangers.

I looked at his back, feeling somewhat dazed.

"Follow me, we'll charge out directly."
