The room behind the door is the surveillance room of a supermarket, with only one screen still on.

"Oops, it's a mess." Chen Yun locked the door casually, "I thought it would lead to a warehouse behind the door, the kind that leads to the backyard."

I shrugged and looked at the surveillance on the screen.

Someone escaped from the main entrance, some were surrounded by zombies, some were already infected, and there were people banging on our door frantically.

"Help! Save me!"

"Please, let me in!"

"We... we can't run out!"

I asked Chen Yun with my eyes.

He seemed indifferent, staring at the surveillance without blinking, "It's up to you to decide."

Well, I admit that if I had a patronus like Harry Potter, it would probably not be an animal but a lotus flower.

I opened the door, and several people outside immediately squeezed in. I quickly closed the door and locked it before a zombie's hand could reach in.

Seven or eight people were cramped in the small surveillance room, enjoying a moment of uneasy peace.

I patted Chen Yun and asked, "What are you looking at?"

"I'm watching when the zombies outside will leave."

I sighed with fatigue and leaned against the wall, wanting to take a nap.

After being on edge for nearly a day, even with only a door separating me from the zombies, I closed my eyes peacefully.

Hey, anyway, if the zombies come, it won't be me who dies.

With that in mind, my drowsiness grew stronger, but a few whispered conversations drove away my sleepiness.

"Hey, what's wrong with her arm? Is it injured?"

"Could it be that she was just bitten by a zombie..."

"Yeah, yeah, I think so. I think I even saw it. How is she still alive?"

"Then... isn't she likely to mutate at any time?"

"We're really in a bad situation, staying in the same room with someone who's been bitten."

"If she turns into a zombie, we'll be in trouble!"

I couldn't listen anymore and slowly opened my eyes, "Yeah, if there are zombies, it's definitely not me who's in trouble, it can only be you guys."

Chen Yun also took his gaze off the surveillance and looked at those people, his face turned serious, "What do you mean to express?"

A man pointed at me, "We all saw her being bitten by a zombie."

Chen Yun nodded, "So what?"

"I think," a girl whispered, "she must have been infected, although I don't know why she's still alive now, but she will mutate sooner or later. Should we leave her here... wait for her to mutate and attack more people..."

The girl's voice grew smaller and smaller, and finally, she glanced at me timidly and fell silent.

I picked at the beads on my manicured nails and raised an eyebrow, "So, are you suggesting that I should leave here and stay with the zombies?"

A few people glanced at each other without speaking.

Actually, I could understand them. After all, in everyone's eyes, being bitten by a zombie meant certain death and endangering more people.

No one was willing to take the risk and stay with someone who could mutate at any time, and I couldn't prove that I wouldn't mutate.

But after all, Chen Yun was the one who opened the door, and I was the one who let them in. Now, we had become the target of blame, and it was really hard to accept.

"What a disaster. Miao Miao, the fate of a saint is not a good one," Chen Yun smiled sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes, "It doesn't matter, anyway, I'm not afraid of zombies. I can open the door and go out anytime. The rest of you can stay here and fend for yourselves."
