Sunlight Tearing Apart the Cracks
I crawled in the darkness, enduring being trampled upon.
It seemed my world was destined to be dark until I met that gentle man, who carefully maintained my worthless pride time and time again.
My heart beat uncontrollably, and I saw light tearing through the cracks.
But then he had to leave.
He told me, "If one day the outside light disappears, don't be afraid, you can become the light that shines on yourself."
I said, "I can't."
He left me behind and walked away.
