Linchuan Music Academy is one of the top music schools in the country, and most musicians take pride in being admitted to this school.

The young girls at the school all have youthful expressions on their faces. In such an atmosphere, I also feel as if I have returned to the time when I just entered college.

I consider myself a boring person. I decided to become a lawyer when I was in junior high, not because of a heart to fight evil and promote good, but because I thought all those legal provisions would be very challenging to memorize.

It was only when I truly bore the title of a lawyer on my shoulders that seeking the truth and helping everyone in need became my life creed. It had nothing to do with anything else; I just felt I should do it.

"Sister, what are you thinking about?"

Jiang Xiaoyu handed me one of the bottles of water he was holding. Looking at the two-yuan-a-bottle of Nongfu Spring, I felt a bit uncomfortable inside. Water nourishes all things without striving. It is like the current Leng Fei, plain and undisturbed. What I am doing now is like throwing a stone smaller than my pinky finger into it, unable to stir any ripples in her heart.

I shook my head and said, "Nothing much, just thinking about my past self."

He suddenly jumped in front of me, walking backward, seriously gazing at me, "What was the old sister like? Full of a sense of justice like now?"

I stopped and looked up at the sun hanging high in the sky, so dazzling. Pointing to the shadow under the big tree, I said, "The old me was like that, dark and timid, not what you imagine."

Jiang Xiaoyu was about to say something when a surprised voice interrupted, "Lawyer Zhao, you are here."

A woman, in a blazer paired with a pencil skirt, square black-framed glasses, carrying a canvas bag.

She is a teacher in the music department at the school, named Fang Yao.

"Teacher Fang. This is Jiang Xiaoyu, my friend."

The two nodded to each other as a greeting. Then, it was time to get down to business.

"Teacher Fang, thank you for your trouble today."

She smiled and waved her hand, "How can it be a trouble? It's just something on the way. It's Wang Yu, right?"

"Yes." I showed her the photo sent by Hao Mei again.

After seeing the photo, she became more certain that it was indeed a student of their academy. "She is a junior at our school, had a car accident a while ago, and just returned to school a few days ago."

"A car accident? Do you know what happened?"

She shook her head, "That I am not clear about."

Jiang Xiaoyu took the materials in my hand, looked through them carefully, and asked, "Where is she now?"

Fang Yao looked at her watch, "At this time, she should be practicing piano in the piano room. She has lagged behind in some things, so she is working harder than others."

Under Fang Yao's guidance, we walked through the corridor. The piano room is near the lake, where the melodious piano sound mingles with the birds' chirping, pleasant and continuous.

Wang Yu was wearing a white dress, her hair loosely hanging behind her. Her face looked a bit pale, but the cherry red lipstick on her lips added some broken beauty.

Young and beautiful.

I saw the amazed expression on Jiang Xiaoyu's face; her looks should be attractive to people of all ages.

She had not finished playing her piece yet. Fang Yao wanted to call her, but I stopped her.

"Let her finish playing; we can wait for a bit."

Blue Love.

I am not well-versed in music, but my ex-boyfriend liked this piece, so I have heard it quite a bit and even learned some lyrics:

Without you, my world is blue, my life is gray, my eyes are red, my jealous heart is green, and my lonely nights are pitch black.

Entangled and lingering, mournful and lingering.
