They turned halfway and walked towards the white building.

My brother followed, getting close to the barbed wire.

I should have run away, but inexplicably followed him towards the barbed wire covered with thorns.

The two of them cautiously avoided the searchlights and surveillance equipment, walking to a place not far from the white building.

In front of the building was a rectangular murky pool of water, constantly emitting white smoke.

Those two creatures in protective suits squatted down, opened the body bag, and dragged out the corpse inside.

The body they dragged out was wearing dark green woolen clothes with black long hair...

I stared at the familiar clothes, even forgetting how to breathe!

The corpse swayed on the stretcher, her head tilted to one side, and I saw her face clearly.

She had the exact same face as me!

The features were distorted, the face covered in blood, the cloudy eyes bulging out, as if she had encountered an extremely horrifying situation before her death.

I bit down on the back of my hand, not letting myself make a sound.

That body, was me!

I'm clearly still alive!

Could it be that there are countless "me" in this game world?

As the world spun around me and I couldn't think or breathe, they threw my body into the bio-corrosive pool, and the white smoke hovering above dispersed.

My eyes widened, on the brink of collapse.

Countless bodies floated on the pool, all wearing dark green woolen sweaters, and underneath there seemed to be layers of bodies that hadn't decomposed.

They are all me!

Countless versions of me died here, thrown into the corrosive pool, waiting to decompose and melt away.

There's nothing scarier than facing death directly!

My brain stopped functioning, my limbs trembling, my eyes staring blankly, instinctively wanting to let out a heart-wrenching scream from my throat.

After my brother noticed, he covered my mouth.

His fingers were cold without any warmth, I leaned back into his arms, seeing the dark green veins flowing under his pale skin, and the blood flowing inside was also green.

Just like "Mom and Dad," they were all monsters called "Cthulhu"!

"You cannot make a sound."

He whispered to me, his silver-gray eyes also having a fleeting membrane covering.

Our movements startled the group of creatures, and the two creatures handling my corpse walked towards our direction, while the ear-piercing alarm sounded.

They moved at a fast speed, far beyond human capabilities.

By the barbed wire, I could see their faces under the masks, green fat masses that resembled humans but more like sinister octopuses, with numerous tiny tentacles moving under their faces.

The dark green eyes were like the dark, lightless depths of the sea.

Fear overwhelmed me, and I forgot to run away!

I watched in horror as my brother was pierced through the chest by the outstretched tentacle, and he pulled me towards the forest we came from, green liquid splattering all the way.

Those monsters seemed to fear the forest, not chasing us in, my brother collapsed on the ground, gasping heavily, his face already devoid of color, like a dead person.

Just as we escaped from "Cthulhu," faceless creatures from the forest also emerged from the shadows upon hearing the noise.

My brother hoarsely said, "These are failed experiments in the biochemical base, they have half human genes and won't attack humans on their own."

A massive airflow swept up the forest leaves, and a spaceship arrived above us, with blinding silver-white searchlights searching for our location.

Nowhere to escape!

My brother looked up at the spaceship overhead: "Nana can leave the game, the only correct way is to defeat them."

"That's impossible!" Without thinking, I replied, how could my strength alone compare to a spaceship?

My brother raised his hand: "Hold onto me!"

I gritted my teeth, crouched down, grabbed my brother's hand, and the system sound upon entering the game rang in my mind again.

"What does the host need?"

My brother answered for me, "Points exchange."

The system sound popped up: "The host has died times in the game, with over sixty thousand points, what would you like to exchange for?"

A virtual screen appeared in front of me, with various items. Listening to my brother's painful groans and the lowering airflow from the spaceship, I didn't have time to look through it all, I found the weapons section, and selected the most expensive heavy weapon inside.

As long as I can leave this place, I am willing to pay any price!

"Laser cannon exchanged, all the host's points have been used up."

A heavy, cold weapon appeared in my hand, my brother on the ground no longer had breath, a strange, unfathomable smile hanging on his lifeless lips.

I lifted the weapon and aimed it at the spaceship, pressed down, a purple laser shot out, a huge explosion sound, countless burning metal fragments falling.

The thunderous explosion made me dizzy, the fire and blast of air rolled towards me...

I was knocked down by the airflow, falling heavily unconscious on the ground.
