On the 35th day of isolation, there have been strong winds these days. The indoor temperature has dropped to 9 degrees Celsius, so it must be below freezing outside.

Since someone tried to pry open the door last time, I moved the sofa to the doorway. Ever since then, I've been resting on the sofa because I discovered that I can't sleep anywhere else.

Today, the sky has been gloomy since morning, and the room has become even darker. By noon, snowflakes started drifting outside, not the fluffy kind, but the kind that resembles salt grains. It feels as cold and rigid as the wind outside.

It's extremely cold today, so I rewarded myself with a self-heating pot, and it's spicy.

Due to the overpowering smell of this food, I used to avoid eating it, but today it's just too cold.

I'm sitting on a chair next to the bedroom, eating and observing the entrance. It has become my regular entertainment during this time.

Due to the overwhelming sense of oppression, seeing the occasional figure at the entrance is the only thing that eases my growing anxiety.

Today, as I was boredly watching, I suddenly noticed someone actually going out. I saw that person going to the entrance and don't know what they said, but they ended up in a scuffle.

Are they going crazy and picking fights?

I silently watched their dispute, as if I was watching a silent film.

After a while, the person who started the trouble left, and I continued eating. Just as I was contemplating whether to drink the spicy soup as well, more people arrived at the entrance.

I don't know if these new people are the same group as before, but they definitely don't seem friendly.

After some time, more than 20 troublemakers left, and then several more groups arrived one after another.

Among these people, I saw the man who knocked on my door before. It seems our building is also getting involved.

Perhaps someone took the lead, as in the following two days, more people came to the guard room, and some even got into altercations with the security personnel.

Two more days passed, and today was destined to be an unusual day. Today, I didn't wake up on my own; I was woken up by the noise in the corridor.

As the clamor gradually faded away, I looked outside through the curtain.

I don't know when, but there were already many people outside. Some were holding wooden sticks, and some even had kitchen knives. What are they planning? Are they going to war somewhere?

I can't expose myself, but the view through the narrow gap in the curtain is really limited.

I can barely see that they seem to be gathering and discussing something, then they march towards the entrance in a grand manner.

I painstakingly positioned my phone to see what was happening. Oh no, this is bad. They are fighting with the personnel on duty outside. It's an open attack on the police!

Then came an unexpected change. They managed to drive away the on-duty personnel, yes, they won.

I don't know what mindset they have, but they actually tore down the metal fence at the entrance and went out. Now it's wide open. Over a hundred people working together are really fast!

I watched all this unfold before my eyes, and my heart started pounding uncontrollably. This shouldn't be happening! Considering the obedient nature of our citizens who abide by policies, they shouldn't be acting so recklessly!

While I was pondering in confusion, the people who went out came back, bringing back many things. It seems they emptied a certain small supermarket.

Based on their speed, I calculated that it should be the supermarket outside the residential area. The supermarket owner is a resident here, so their action was merely to empty the small supermarket?

That can't be it. Emptying the supermarket must have been just a side objective. Perhaps...

I understand now. It must be a demonstration or a way to express their discontent.

Since the lockdown, we have only received supplies twice, and the last time was a month ago. Maybe we still have enough grain, but vegetables can't last for a month. So they are protesting against the lack of vegetables?

Or maybe they are unhappy with their treatment at home? Going crazy without the internet?

It could be a combination of various reasons that ultimately led to this demonstration and conflict. However, they shouldn't have torn down the metal fenceat the entrance and gone out. It's a dangerous move that could lead to even more chaos and potential harm to themselves and others.

As an observer in this situation, it's important for me to prioritize my own safety and stay indoors. I need to avoid getting involved in any way to protect myself.

I should continue monitoring the situation from a safe distance and try to gather as much information as possible. It's crucial to stay informed about any updates or developments that may affect my safety or the overall situation.

If the unrest continues or escalates, it might be necessary to contact the authorities or emergency services to report the situation and seek guidance on what steps to take.

In the meantime, I should remain calm and composed, conserving my resources and preparing for any potential emergencies that may arise. It's essential to have a plan in place for different scenarios to ensure my well-being during this uncertain time.

I hope that the situation resolves peacefully and that the underlying issues causing the unrest can be addressed effectively. Until then, I must prioritize my safety and make the best decisions possible given the circumstances.
