It happened to be the weekend. After getting up, my husband said that the calming incense was not enough, and he wanted to go to the temple again.

I immediately felt that this was a good opportunity, so after my husband left in the car, I called a taxi and asked the driver to follow him closely.

The taxi followed my husband's car, turning left and right, and finally drove onto a secluded road. This was not the way back home. Could it really be going to the temple?

As the field of vision widened, a temple appeared in front of me. I looked at the front with some suspicion. My husband parked the car and went inside.

I asked the driver to stop the car and followed him in.

There was only a young monk sweeping outside the temple, which looked very quiet. In the Buddha hall, a huge golden Buddha statue leaned slightly downwards with a gentle smile, overlooking all sentient beings.

But I always felt something strange and dared not look directly at the Buddha statue.

In this large temple, there were neither pilgrims nor monks. I walked inside, and it was so quiet that I could only hear my own footsteps.

Suddenly, I heard voices. I stopped and cautiously approached. It was my husband's voice.

"Master, we have done as you said, and now the calming incense is almost used up..."

The voice gradually became smaller. I wanted to get closer and listen, but I found that there was no one in front, only a mobile phone playing an audio on the ground.

"Wife, why didn't you listen and followed me?"

A warm body approached me from behind, and affectionate words entered my ears. I could feel the warmth of his breath near my mouth.

A feeling of fear spread throughout my body, and I tried to calm myself down.

"You knew I followed you a long time ago?"

"Hmm, of course I knew. I even led you here," he said leisurely.

I felt a chill run down my spine.

"What do you want to do? Wang Pu, have you been deceiving me all these years?" I tried to awaken his conscience, even if he had a little reluctance.

He smiled, covered my mouth with his hand, and I soon lost consciousness. The last thing I heard before losing consciousness was, "Wife, do you know how much effort I've put into waiting for this day?"
