Dawn broke.

Today is the third day, and I'm perfectly fine.

"It's okay now, you can go back." Auntie opened the door for me.

I returned to the dormitory, and my roommate had just gotten up.

"How's it going?" Xiao Ze greeted me.

I told everyone about the information I thought of last night.

After finishing, I walked to Zhou Yi Qiang's bed and punched him.

I saw a boy walking out with a girl.

The boy and girl who walked out had red caps on their heads, and their figures disappeared at the end of the street.

After speaking, the voice didn't sound again.

The paper I had handed in earlier appeared at my feet.

I picked it up and found a line of words on it.

Just as I was about to put the paper away and show it to Sun Hua Wen when I returned to the dormitory at night, the words on the paper disappeared after I left the restroom.

I glanced at Zhou Yi Qiang, Xiao Ze, and Tao Ran, who were all engrossed in their books.

I couldn't disturb them with this strange occurrence. Besides, we were not supposed to talk in the library.

I decided to wait until we were back in the dormitory to discuss it with Sun Hua Wen and Huang Pang.

Time passed slowly in the library. We studied diligently, trying to forget about the strange events happening around us.

Finally, the library closed, and we made our way back to the dormitory.

Sun Hua Wen and Huang Pang were already there, waiting for us.

"Did anything strange happen to you today?" I asked, unable to contain my curiosity.

Sun Hua Wen and Huang Pang exchanged glances and nodded.

"We heard some rumors while we were in class," Sun Hua Wen said. "There are rumors that the school closure is not just for our safety. It's also to prevent something from getting out."

"What do you mean by 'something'?" Zhou Yi Qiang asked, his eyes widening.

"I don't know the details," Huang Pang replied. "But people are saying that there's a dangerous entity inside the school, and the closure is meant to contain it."

We were all stunned by this revelation. It seemed like our situation was even more dire than we had imagined.

"And there's more," Sun Hua Wen continued. "We overheard some students talking about a group of people wearing red caps. They seem to be connected to whatever is happening."

"Red caps?" I repeated, remembering the boy and girl we had seen earlier wearing red caps.

"Yes," Sun Hua Wen confirmed. "They are being blamed for the current situation, and people are advised to stay away from them."

We sat in silence, absorbing the information.

"What about the missing number?" I finally asked, remembering the message on the paper.

"We're not sure," Huang Pang replied. "But it could be a clue or a code of some sort. We need to figure out its meaning."

We spent the rest of the evening discussing the rumors and trying to decipher the message on the paper.

As the night grew darker, we realized we were in the midst of something much bigger and more dangerous than we had anticipated.

The school closure was not just about a virus or a quarantine. It was about a hidden threat, an entity that needed to be contained.

We knew we had to find out more, but we also knew that we had to be cautious and stay together.
