"Dadada..."

A rhythmic sound of footsteps approached from a distance.

"Dong dong dong," three knocks on the dormitory door near the staircase.

"Open the door, checking the attendance. Is anyone in?" A woman's voice echoed.

No one answered.

The door was knocked on again.

Time and time again, the knocking grew louder, eventually reaching a deafening level.

This wasn't a simple attendance check, it felt more like a death sentence.

"Boom, boom, boom..."

If one didn't know better, it sounded like an explosion outside.

After about ten minutes, the sound stopped.

For a moment, the silence was so profound that even the sound of breathing was clearly audible.

"Dadada..."

The footsteps moved towards the next dormitory...

"Help, I'm so scared," Tao Ran swallowed nervously.

"It seems like our dormitory door is even older than I am. Can an old door handle all this banging?" Zhou Yi Qiang patted the door.

"It doesn't matter, get back, get back. If the door gets damaged, will you take responsibility?" Tao Ran pushed Zhou Yi Qiang away.

The six of us sat around the table, staring at the door, listening to the footsteps outside.

Here it comes.

I took a sharp breath.

The footsteps stopped at our dormitory door.

"Open the door, checking the attendance. Is anyone in?" The same female voice.

"Dong, dong, dong." Three relatively polite knocks.

We all knew deep down that this was just the calm before the storm.

And sure enough, the knocking grew louder and more intense.

Visually, every knock on the dormitory door caused it to dent inward.

Each knock reminded me of a meteor striking the moon's surface.

What was remarkable was that once the dormitory door dented inward, it immediately bounced back to its original state, as if it had elasticity.

All six of us breathed a sigh of relief.

Other than some discomfort in our ears, it seemed like nothing happened.

Maybe the attendance check wasn't as terrifying as we thought.

As long as we didn't open the door.

Who would be foolish enough to open the door?

After about ten minutes, the attendance check left.

We were temporarily safe.

"Oh! Let's thank the door with applause! Thank you! Without you, we would've been doomed! Door, oh door, how could we survive without you? Love you, muah! Next time, I will burn incense for you thrice a day in gratitude!"

Zhou Yi Qiang hugged the door and planted a few kisses on it.

Door: Having you is my bad luck.

Just when we were rejoicing in the dormitory, suddenly there was a sound of the neighboring door opening.

Could it be... someone actually opened the door?!

Followed by a chorus of screams from a group of men.

Lasting about five seconds, the entire floor fell back into silence.

What happened?

No one knew except those in that dormitory.

The footsteps continued moving towards the next dorm.

"Dadada..."

"What's going on?" Zhou Yi Qiang began sweating, "Door brother, are you reliable at all?"

【If the people inside don't open the door voluntarily, no one from outside can enter the dormitory.】

But what if the people inside do voluntarily open the door?

Why would they open the door? Who opened the door?

The atmosphere grew tense once again.

"Sun Lao Da, can you analyze and comfort my fragile heart a bit?" Zhou Yi Qiang turned to Sun Hua Wen.

"Let me ask you, do the deceased people come back to the dormitory at night?" Sun Hua Wen made his point clear.

When your roommates encounter trouble without your knowledge, lurking around you, they seize the opportunity during the attendance check to open the gates of hell.

"Wasn't it said that the dormitory is absolutely safe?" Huang Pang's face turned pale.

【The dormitory is absolutely safe.】

There seems to be no issue with this statement, yet also there seems to be a problem.

If that's the case, is the information provided always correct, and must the rules always be followed?

How should your roommates in trouble be dealt with?

And for those who see the dog... why can they see the dog? Are they still alive?

This night is destined to be sleepless.
