Yi Linyang took out the key, the one he found from the mouse's mouth, and gently opened the back kitchen door.

The back kitchen was brightly lit, but quiet, with no voices.

The dark floor was covered in oil stains, making it sticky to walk on.

Suddenly, I heard a dull thumping sound coming from the freezer behind me, as if someone was desperately pounding on it.

I opened the large freezer in the corner and was immediately startled.

A blast of cold air hit me, and inside were four curled-up bodies, frozen and turning dark blue.

These people were wearing the uniforms of the school cafeteria staff, their white clothes stained with grease.

Their expressions were full of fear, as if they were desperately screaming, but their stiff arms were still reaching upwards.

The one on top was the auntie who served me lunch!

I trembled and the freezer lid slammed shut.

Where is the killer who murdered them?

I turned around and looked at Yi Linyang, drenched in cold sweat.

The head chef of the cafeteria, whom I didn't know where he came from, was standing not far behind him, holding a sharp bone cleaver in his hand.

The head chef, with his chubby face still smeared with saliva, approached me with a strange smile.

A pungent stench filled the air.

Something was off about him!

I felt hopeless, thinking I was about to be caught in the kitchen, so I immediately hid behind a bucket of slops.

However, he didn't make a move. Instead, he staggered towards the cutting board, preparing to chop meat.

He brought the cleaver down with a crisp and decisive strike.

He was chopping the large bones for the broth!

I slowly came out from my hiding spot. The head chef didn't stop, but continued to wield the knife and chop on the cutting board...
