Over the years, I have traveled to many cities.

Without any clear destination, just wandering around, in case Lin Mo is still alive.

What if in some corner of a city, I meet her.

Just like the old saying goes, what is remembered in the heart will never be forgotten.

Last year, in a small county in Shandong, I followed my usual habit and found a small noodle shop to eat.

As soon as I entered, she was sitting there.

Her hair was a bit dull, but neatly combed, there were wrinkles at the corners of her eyes and between her eyebrows, the sunlight stretched her shadow long, just that the direction of the shadow did not reach towards me.

It was as if she had been sitting there waiting for me for the past decade.

I confirmed several times, it was really her, tears flowed down my cheeks.

"Lin Mo?" I tentatively called out.

She turned to look at me, maybe because of the backlight, maybe because her eyesight was not good.

It took her a while to recognize me.

Lin Mo quickly stood up, ran to me, then abruptly stopped, afraid she had mistaken the person.

I just looked at her, watching the corners of her mouth trembling.

"Wu Ge."

Lin Mo threw herself into my arms, crying loudly.

I held her tightly, smiling and crying.

From her crying, I heard heartache, grievances, and the ways of the world.

A man with a simple face rushed out from the kitchen, probably hearing Lin Mo's cries, to see what had happened.

Seeing the two of us embracing tightly, he was a bit at a loss.

Lin Mo struggled out of my embrace, wiped her tears, in that moment, my heart felt empty.

"Husband, this is the Wu Ge I talk about every day, Wu Ge who saved me back then."

That man, upon Lin Mo introducing me, quickly came over to shake my hand, hesitated for a moment, wiped his wet hand on his apron repeatedly before grabbing my hand and shaking it vigorously.

"I've always heard Lin Mo talk about you, finally... finally met you in person."

For a moment, I didn't know what to do.
