That person looked extremely familiar, and I squinted my eyes.

As I saw Yang Tan's face clearly, the smile on my face dropped. I remembered his ugly face when he belittled my design drafts during an interview.

I clenched my fists, my temper flaring up, and turned to leave.

But as I reached out to touch the gate of his courtyard, a dark mist climbed up my arm, trying to pull me into it.

Autumn rushed over with a roar, biting my wedding dress fiercely. I pulled my skirt and jumped back in panic.

In my fluster, I saw that person still standing in place, staring straight at me with a deep gaze.

His voice slightly low: "It's getting cold, come inside."

I thought he could see me, so I cleared my throat, fake smiled, and greeted him. But he waved his hand, inviting Autumn into the room instead.

I awkwardly put my hand down, realizing that I had overthought it. He couldn't see me after all.
