Luyan's eyes were deep and intense, staring at me without any hesitation.

"Okay, very good." Luyan suddenly burst into laughter, clapping his hands as he spoke.

Then, Luyan grabbed Su Niannian's neck and passionately kissed her. As Su Niannian became lost in the kiss, Luyan suddenly pulled away, a hint of anger showing on his cold face. He coldly asked me, "You wouldn't mind if I date Su Niannian, right?"

"Oh, whatever." I replied.

With that, I pulled the man beside me out of the hall.

I seemed to hear Luyan behind me angrily smashing a highball glass to pieces on the floor.

Outside the hall, the handsome man remained unusually calm, as if all of this was within his expectations.

Leaving the club, he turned and walked away.

I called out to him, "What's your name?"

He turned around, the sunlight shining on his handsome face, slightly dazzling. He furrowed his brows slightly and answered, "Just a passerby."

I didn't ask for his name.

He left, and I didn't stop him.

Qin Ran followed shortly after, admiring my courage and apologizing to me, saying she hadn't thought things through and almost made me look bad.

She also mentioned that my current boyfriend seemed very reliable, a thousand times better than Luyan.

Returning home that night, I took a bath, then checked my phone in the room. There were five missed calls, all from Luyan.

Plus, there was a text message that had just arrived: [Where's my birthday gift?]
