Twenty minutes later, the car drove into the Penglai Bay community.

Lo Yin busied herself putting away my bag and coat, saying to me, "Let me quickly cook you some noodles first. Don't think about anything, just go take a hot bath."

I stood at the entrance looking at her, "I went to the police station today."

Lo Yin nodded, "I know."

I clenched my fist, "Don't you have anything to say to me?"

I was furious, "And what if I do?"

Lo Yin cried with tears streaming down her face, took out a pack of cigarettes from the drawer at the entrance, was about to smoke, then put it back down.
