Early the next morning, as soon as the alarm clock rang, I immediately got up from bed and rushed to the next door to ring the doorbell frantically.

This time it was the old man who opened the door, his sleepy eyes barely concealing his displeasure as he looked at me.

Pretending not to understand his expression, I very naturally made a request to him: "Uncle, I need to put on makeup for work and don't have time to make breakfast. The food sold outside is not as healthy and hygienic as at home.

"I want to eat egg pancakes, pumpkin congee, and two more pan-fried dumplings. Please help me make them quickly, I'll come over to eat later. Thank you, Uncle."

After ordering the food, I returned to my own house at lightning speed, not even giving him a chance to refuse, all while being stared at dumbfoundedly by the old man.

I slowly finished putting on makeup and arrived at the next door, which was already an hour later.

On the dining table were the breakfast items I had just ordered, and the expressions of the couple were extremely unpleasant.

Ignoring their obvious displeasure, I sat down boldly, picked up a bowl, and started eating, not forgetting to complain: "Uncle, these are not as tasty when they're cold. Next time, please pay more attention to the timing when making them. I don't want to eat cold food."

The old lady couldn't hold back her anger and said, "Is there going to be a next time for you?"

"Huh? Can't there be a next time?" I innocently asked, before they could respond, I continued with a hint of grievance and confusion, "But at home, my parents prepare breakfast for me every day. Uncle and Auntie, what's wrong with that?"

My question left them speechless, unable to respond to my full belly of dissatisfaction, they could only nod with grim faces.

"There's nothing wrong, it's just that Uncle and Auntie are getting older, waking up so early, and not getting enough sleep."

"Then you should go to bed earlier at night, and besides, I work very hard. After I go to work, you can still go back to sleep, but I can't."

"Well..."

Shocked by my logic, the old lady was about to say something in response, but I was too lazy to listen to her finish, so I found an excuse to cut her off.

"Oh, Uncle and Auntie, I'm almost late, I have to go now.

"I'll come back for dinner tonight, you don't need to cook too many dishes. Just make some braised pork ribs, stir-fried mixed vegetables, sweet and sour pork, and any simple vegetable dish will do.

"I'm not picky, I'll eat whatever you make."

I finished saying all I had to say, not giving them a chance to refuse, and quickly ran off, leaving them standing there stunned.
