I successfully entered university and applied to the counselor to delay the payment of tuition fees.

Right at the beginning of my freshman year, I found a part-time job in the school cafeteria, temporarily solving the issue of meals.

I helped deliver packages for others - one yuan for small packages, two yuan for medium ones, three yuan for large ones, and an extra yuan if delivered to the dormitory. In the evening, I also found a part-time job at a dessert shop and returned before curfew at the dormitory.

After being busy for almost half a semester, I finally managed to pay the tuition fees.

However, since the day I left home, I knew I couldn't slack off.

During the New Year's Eve party in my freshman year, when I came out of the restroom, someone tapped my shoulder while I was washing my hands: "Miss, you're also studying here!"

As I turned around, I met a pair of bright eyes.

It was the girl who handed me the paper on the street that day. She had heavy makeup on, making it hard to see her original appearance, but I would never forget those eyes.

I was very surprised and had always wanted to find her to thank her properly. I didn't expect to actually meet her.

But before we could talk more, she was pulled away by her classmates, as it seemed they were going on stage.
