I went to see Princess Chang. The Emperor still had feelings for her, as the expenses in the mansion had not decreased but instead become more extravagant.

I knew Li Huaiyan felt guilty towards her. If he hadn't succumbed to pressure and married her off, Princess Chang wouldn't have been bullied.

But Li Huaiyan didn't know how to face her. Seeing his woman under another man, it was like a bone stuck in his throat for any man.

"What are you here for?" Princess Chang's charming face was filled with anger. "Letting Consort Lan die so easily, you are truly incompetent."

"Then what does Princess Chang want?" I leisurely sat beside her, paying no attention to her disrespect.

"She should have her flesh cut off piece by piece to feed the dogs, leaving her barely alive, turning her into a human pig, and sending her to the circus for people's amusement." She said viciously through gritted teeth.

"Alright." I softly agreed.

She seemed not to hear, continuing in a frenzy, "Did the Emperor send you? Why doesn't he come to see me?"

"The Emperor has been busy with state affairs these days, truly exhausted. But he still cares for Princess Chang. The Emperor specifically instructed me to bring your favorite white jade cakes." I said with a smile.

The maid timely opened the snack box.

Princess Chang happily held it in her hands, "I knew the Emperor treats me the best. When you go back, tell the Emperor that Siyao misses him and wants to see him."

"Why not personally write a letter to inform the Emperor, Princess?" I suggested kindly.

"But..." She stopped mid-sentence.

I knew that before my arrival, she had already written several letters to the Emperor, but he had never visited the princess's mansion.

"Princess Chang, the Emperor cares for you, but after all, you killed the son of a high-ranking court official. The Emperor may still be upset. Ordinary letters are likely useless, but if written in blood, this sincerity will surely touch the Emperor's heart." I spoke slowly.

Her eyes lit up, then she turned her head cautiously and asked, "Why are you helping me?"

I lowered my gaze and said, "I just don't want to see the Emperor sad, that's all."

"Hmph," she sneered, "Nice words. You're probably just trying to get the Emperor to notice you more. But I appreciate your help. When I see the Emperor, I will speak up for you."

"Thank you, Princess Chang." I lowered my head to conceal the mockery in my eyes.
