Today is the weekend.

Every weekend, my mom will give me 100 yuan to go out and play.

I packed my backpack and walked to the living room.

Mom was already sitting on the sofa. When she saw me coming over, she took out 100 yuan from her wallet and touched my head.

"Go, have fun, and come back after you've had enough."

I nodded and forced a fake smile.

With my bag on my back, I walked to the door. Instead of heading to the bus stop, I walked to the slightly old and run-down floor next door.

The top student in our class, Qin Xi, lives here.

I knocked on the door, and a middle-aged woman with a welcoming smile opened the door.

"Child, who are you looking for?"

"Auntie, I'm looking for Qin Xi. Is he at home?"

"Yes, he is."

Auntie warmly welcomed me in, led me to the entrance of the small room, knocked on the door, and then opened it to whisper a few words.

Qin Xi came out and looked at me in surprise.

Qin Xi questioned me, and Auntie gave him a side glance. "Qin Xi, this little girl came to play with you. How can you say that?"

She apologized for Qin Xi. "Child, I'm sorry. My son is just not good at talking. Play well at our house, and I will go wash the fruit for you."

Auntie warmly left, leaving us alone.

I closed the door, didn't waste time, and directly placed the still warm 100 yuan on the table.

Qin Xi looked at the bright red 100 yuan on the table and fell into deep thought.

I know he really needs it. From the white clothes he washed, the worn-out cloth shoes he wore, to the hair that covered his eyes, I could feel it.

He really needs it.

He hesitated noticeably as he looked at me.

I looked at him and escalated the offer, "If you're not sure, we can sign a contract. If I have any other intentions, you can hold me responsible for my actions, how about that?"

My words completely moved him.

He sealed the deal.
