A good night's sleep.

The next day when I woke up, everyone except Qin Yuan was still asleep.

When he saw me wake up, he urged me to get up quickly.

Seeing him moving his body cautiously, I couldn't help but laugh.

"You heartless little thing."

He gave me a faint glance.

He hadn't changed positions all night, and his hand was still under my head, now his whole body was numb.

I immediately went to massage his legs and hands.

Watching him grit his teeth, I thought about all the sad things in my life and still couldn't help but smile.

By the time Qin Yuan and I returned from getting the fishing cages in the river last night, the remaining four people had already woken up.

We took out the map and prepared to trek through the dense forest to the other end of the island.

According to the original plan, the production team had prepared a boat there, so once we arrived, we could take the boat back.

In order to travel more easily, we decided to release Lin Yuanhe and Zhong Ling.

Lin Yuanhe and Zhong Ling stared at the heated fish on the fire, their eyes eager but dare not ask for any.

From the very beginning, we agreed that "more work means more reward". These two had used up a lot of energy just trying to keep up with us on the way, and they didn't have the energy to find their own food.

Now they could only nibble on some unripe wild fruits they found.

After eating and discussing the direction for the next day's journey, we each went to sleep.

At midnight, the sound of thunder outside the cave woke me up.

It was pouring outside.

I looked around the cave in the light of the fire, and Lin Yuanhe and Zhong Ling were nowhere to be seen.

Also missing were several backpacks left on the side.

"Did they run away?"

A low voice echoed in the cave.

Qin Yuan, who was also woken up, added some dry branches to the fire that was about to go out: "They won't get far in this weather. Let's go back to sleep."

When I woke up again, it was already bright outside.

The two people with disheveled hair were shivering by the fire, and the missing backpacks were still in place.

"I didn't think you two would be so interested in enjoying the rain in the middle of the night."

I looked at their wet clothes and chuckled.
