Weekend.

Chen Zheng drove a Maybach and parked it in a parking lot about one kilometer away from my residential area.

He said he wasn't good at parking in reverse, so he had to trouble me to walk a little more.

I was glad I was wearing flat shoes. If I had worn high heels, that one kilometer would have killed me, a fragile woman like a shark.

Just arrived at the parking lot.

Chen Zheng saw me coming and put down his selfie phone, quickly getting out of the driver's seat.

"I've been driving for too long, I'm so tired. You can drive safely from here on."

I looked at the car, furrowing my brows.

His family isn't poor, but they definitely can't afford a Maybach.

So this car must be rented.

Seeing me hesitating and frowning, Chen Zheng coughed twice to cover up his embarrassment.

"I borrowed this from my boss.

"You know, in the entertainment industry, people are always flattering those above them and stepping on those below them. I have to support my sister's image."

I wanted to retort, opened my mouth, but didn't say anything in the end.

Finally, I sat in the driver's seat and accelerated to drive the car out.

Chen Zheng sat in the passenger seat, talking non-stop.

"After this drama is finished, my sister will probably become a big star. You can quit your job and work under my sister. It's family taking care of her, so I can rest assured."

His face was shiny, and his tone carried an indescribable sense of pride.

I rolled my eyes. Oh, I hope I'll be a mobile blood bag for his sister.

"And..." Chen Zheng paused for a moment.

"The crew is very strict with personnel and won't allow any unrelated people to enter. So, don't make a fuss later. If someone asks, just say you're my driver."

Me: "..."

"What's wrong?" Chen Zheng looked at me, sounding helpless. "Hey, you're not angry, are you? It's just something I can't help."

"You're such a grown person. Don't bother with a little girl."

I was dumbfounded. Seriously, is taking your girlfriend to see your sister such a disgraceful thing?

So I'm supposed to be your family's pack mule while being a blood bag.

I was about to retort, but suddenly remembered Lao Dao's words and shook my head.

"It's fine, I understand. Don't worry, I won't hold back your sister."

Seeing that I agreed, Chen Zheng smiled happily.

"Ping'an, you're really good. When my sister becomes a hit, our whole family will treat you well."

We quickly arrived at our destination.

In front of the entrance to the film and television city stood a girl who looked almost identical to the one on the poster I saw that day.

And before Chen Zheng reached her, he kept adjusting his collar and flicking his hair in the mirror.

That appearance made it seem like the person in front of him was his beloved.

I sneered. Lao Dao didn't say I had to greet them with a smile.

I turned the steering wheel, pressed the brake, stepped on the accelerator, and drifted the car in front of Chen Yun.

"Ah!!" Chen Yun was scared and fell to the ground.

The wig that Chen Zheng had just attached flew off and hung loosely on his forehead. He turned to me angrily and shouted:

"How did you learn to drive!"

After saying that, he quickly unbuckled his seatbelt, opened the door, and helped Chen Yun up.

I shrugged my shoulders, letting go of the steering wheel.

"Sorry, I really can't handle this car."

Chen Yun's expression was grim, as if her anger had reached its peak.

Due to possibly being watched by paparazzi at the entrance of the studio, she didn't explode.

I rolled my eyes in my heart. How thick of a filter did Chen Zheng have to wear in order to say such nonsense about his sister liking me?

After being helped up by Chen Zheng, she adjusted her flowing black hair and leaned intothe car, glancing at me with disdain.

"You must be Chen Zheng's driver, right?" she asked, her voice dripping with condescension.

I smiled politely, not letting her attitude affect me.

"Yes, I'm Chen Zheng's driver. Nice to meet you, Miss Chen Yun."

Chen Yun's eyebrows furrowed slightly, clearly displeased with my response. She was expecting me to be intimidated by her presence, but I refused to give her the satisfaction.

"Well, make sure you do your job properly and don't cause any trouble," she said dismissively.

I nodded and turned my attention to Chen Zheng, who was still trying to fix his wig.

"Chen Zheng, we should head inside now. The crew might be waiting for you," I suggested.

Chen Zheng quickly adjusted his wig and straightened his posture, trying to regain his composure.

"Right, let's go. Ping'an, you can stay here and wait for us. We'll be back soon," he said, ignoring my presence as if I were invisible.

I raised an eyebrow, not expecting him to leave me behind.

"Actually, I would like to accompany you inside. It's my responsibility to ensure your safety," I said calmly.

Chen Zheng's face contorted with annoyance, but he didn't want to create a scene in front of his sister.

"Fine, but remember, you're just a driver. Don't overstep your boundaries," he warned.

I nodded, acknowledging his words without any intention of following his instructions.

We walked towards the entrance together, with Chen Yun leading the way and Chen Zheng trailing behind.

As we entered the film and television city, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. This was my first time being on a set of such scale, and I was curious to see what went on behind the scenes.

Chen Yun, on the other hand, seemed to be in her element. She walked with confidence, exchanging greetings with the staff members who recognized her.

As we reached the filming location, I observed the bustling activity. People were setting up lights, adjusting cameras, and preparing the props.

Chen Yun's presence caused a commotion among the crew members, and they quickly gathered around her, eager to please.

I stayed by Chen Zheng's side, silently observing the interactions. It was clear that he enjoyed the attention his sister received and relished in his role as her supporter.

After some time, the director approached Chen Yun and started discussing the scene they were about to shoot.

Chen Zheng turned to me, a smug expression on his face.

"See, Ping'an? This is the world my sister belongs to. Soon, you'll witness her talent on the big screen."

I smiled politely, not wanting to engage in his self-aggrandizing conversation.

As the filming commenced, I found myself engrossed in the process. The director's instructions, the actors' performances, and the crew's coordination fascinated me.

Chen Yun's acting skills were indeed impressive. She effortlessly portrayed her character's emotions and delivered her lines with conviction.

While observing, I couldn't help but think about my own aspirations. Being in this environment ignited a spark within me, reaffirming my desire to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

As the day progressed, I assisted Chen Zheng with various tasks, ensuring he was comfortable and had everything he needed.

Eventually, the filming for the day came to an end, and Chen Yun's scenes were wrapped up.

Chen Zheng approached me, a hint of annoyance still lingering on his face.

"We're leaving now. Make sure the car is ready," he said curtly.

I nodded and excused myself to retrieve the car.

As I drove back, I couldn't help but reflect on the day's events. Despite the initial tension and Chen Zheng's arrogant behavior, being on set had given me a glimpse into the world I aspired to be a part of.

I knew that my journey wouldn't be easy, but I was determined to pursue my dreams and carve my own path in the entertainment industry.

With a renewed sense of purpose, I looked ahead, ready to face the challenges that awaited me.
