Shi Huai Zhao probably didn't expect to fall off his horse so quickly.

I forced him into a corner, acting like a rogue who robs innocent men.

Short in height, but mustering up all his courage.

"Shi Huai Zhao, don't hide it, explain clearly why you stood me up."

He held my shoulder to prevent me from getting closer and turned his head to explain.

"It wasn't intentional, I got into a car accident that day and had a slight concussion. I didn't wake up until the next day."

"Then why didn't you explain it to me later?" I insisted.

Then I remembered that I had blocked him myself.

"I mean, why didn't you explain it to me face to face?"

Shi Huai Zhao turned his head and looked directly into my eyes, his eyes turning red, his voice choked up.

"Because you hate me, I dare not see you."

"When did I say I hated you?"

"You told people, you hate people who don't keep their promises and never want to have any relationship with me again."

"You didn't particularly like me from the beginning, and I messed up the date."

As he spoke, he started sniffing, as if he was about to cry.

Bell and Da Fu were awakened and curiously staring at us.

I released my grip on him and scratched my head.

"That was just a reaction out of anger. Just explain it clearly."

"So, are you still angry now?" Shi Huai Zhao cautiously asked.

I shook my head.

"Then give me back the handkerchief." He looked at me pleadingly.

"No, it was originally mine."

After hearing my refusal, he was about to cry again.

"I like you, do you like me?" Shi Huai Zhao asked straightforwardly.

"I liked you before, but now I'm not sure."

"Why are you unsure now?"

He kept pressing for answers.

"Because someone hid a lot of things from me and didn't explain them clearly. Besides the handkerchief, did you take anything else from me?"

Shi Huai Zhao blurted out, "How did you know?"

I glanced back at the naive and innocent Bell.

"Just pretend I can read minds."
