Grandfather's grave has a newly built large stone altar. My father and I arranged the offerings, lit the incense, and placed the whips. We burned the gold ingots, paper money, and paper clothes and houses we brought, then we began to kowtow.

Three gods and four ghosts.

When paying respects to ancestors at the grave, we must kowtow four times.

Jin San Ye (Third Lord Jin) led us descendants in kowtowing.

There were unusually many paper money and gold ingots in front of the grave this year, and the fire was burning vigorously, accompanied by rising smoke.

After the first kowtow, thick smoke gradually spread in the tomb area, and I faintly heard sounds on the altar.

I looked up, everything was normal.

The second and third kowtows were made.

Although I could still hear the sounds on the altar, when I looked up, everything was still normal.

When I kowtowed for the fourth time, I didn't lower my head and secretly looked.

Through the flames, thick smoke, and scattered ashes, I saw that the altar was crowded with people.

These people had extremely long hair, almost dragging on the ground. They were wearing tattered longevity robes and adorned with gold and silver jewelry and jade pendants.

All of them were young women, four of them.

The altar had also changed. Originally, it was just a pile of gold paper folded into ingots, but now they had all turned into real gold ingots.

They were stacked layer upon layer, reaching a height of over ten feet, shining brightly.

In the flames and smoke, the gold coins fell like rain on the altar and the surrounding ground.

These women held gold ingots the size of steamed buns in their hands, opened their mouths wide, and swallowed them whole.

When the ingots entered their throats, the women's necks swelled like toads, their skin cracked, and their bones protruded, making a creaking sound.

Their faces turned purple from suffocation, with prominent blood vessels, bulging eyes that seemed about to pop out, showing extreme pain.

Once the ingots reached their stomachs, the wounds on their necks instantly healed.

The women then grabbed another ingot and started swallowing it, repeating the process.

Every time they swallowed an ingot or money, a crisp sound came from their stomachs.

The women's bellies swelled up, bursting through their longevity robes.

Through their bluish-gray skin, black blood vessels surged like earthworms.

Watching this scene in front of me, I was completely stunned.

Then I saw another woman emerging from the ground.

This woman looked somewhat familiar.
