Under the lotus seat, two sticky, pitch-black, thick tentacles stretched out and gestured in front of her chest.

I asked her, "Where is the Lotus Lamp?"

She smiled and then exaggeratedly turned her head backward. It turned out that she had another face behind her head.

It was a man's face, with a kind and benevolent expression.

My father suddenly screamed from the clay jar, "Oh my God! It's Tang Sanzang! You're not dead yet!"

He chuckled and said, "I'm barely surviving on Guanyin Bodhisattva."

As he spoke, he took out a lotus lamp. The jade lamp body had dimmed, and the wick didn't emit any light.

I easily obtained the Lotus Lamp. Upon closer inspection, there was only a closed vertical eye at the wick.

"The lamp is not lit!" I exclaimed in shock.

Tang Sanzang also said, "Yes, the lamp is not lit. In order to stay alive, I exhausted all the power of the Lotus Lamp. Now that the world is in silence, the Lotus Lamp cannot absorb spiritual energy, and it will never light up again."

My heart also fell into silence.

Without the Lotus Lamp, how could I defeat my uncle?

"What exactly happened back then?" I became curious about those things for the first time.

Tang Sanzang sighed and said, "I was deceived, and everyone was deceived. The scriptures were fake, and the Tathagata was not the true Tathagata. He turned the world into what it is now."

Then, he looked at me earnestly, "Your flesh and blood have the taste of my Purple Gold Bowl. Good child, I'm craving your flesh."

Tang Sanzang opened his big mouth, revealing densely packed and tiny sharp teeth. Dark green saliva kept dripping down.

"Sanzang, you're breaking your precepts again," Guanyin suddenly said.

Tang Sanzang smiled bitterly and said, "If the Tathagata is not the true Tathagata, what does the precept truly mean?"
