However, Master was still worried, so after Sun Wukong left the mountain, he sent me to watch over him. Master said to me, "You are Sun Wukong's senior brother. When he encounters the calamity, you must save him."

So I was also driven down the mountain by Master.

With the two of us troublemakers gone, Master's days on Mount Fāngcún should be quieter.

After I descended the mountain, I didn't go to find Sun Wukong. Instead, I wandered in the mortal world for a few years, experiencing the worldly pleasures. Only after having my fill of fun did I go to Flower-Fruit Mountain to see that monkey.

But that monkey had become an official in the Heavenly Court, taking care of the horses, and was no longer on Flower-Fruit Mountain.

When I heard that Sun Wukong had gone to the Heavenly Court, I knew that his calamity must have happened there. So I settled at the foot of Flower-Fruit Mountain.

Given Sun Wukong's personality, he wouldn't last long in the Heavenly Court.

And indeed, in just a few days, I heard that he had stormed the Southern Heavenly Gate and returned to Flower-Fruit Mountain. He even gathered the monkeys and proclaimed himself the "Great Sage Equal to Heaven."

I knew there would be a good show to watch. So I concealed myself at the peak of Flower-Fruit Mountain, on the mountain peak where Sun Wukong would spring out from.

The Heavenly Court sent the Great Sage Equaling Heaven Li Jing and the Third Prince Nezha to subdue Sun Wukong, but my junior disciple destroyed the Seven Treasure Linglong Pagoda with one blow and shattered the Universe Ring with another.

Defeated, Li Jing and Nezha returned to the Heavenly Court, and I followed them.

In my impression, Nezha wouldn't be defeated by Sun Wukong with just one blow.

When Li Jing and Nezha reached the Southern Heavenly Gate, they stopped outside and didn't enter.

The Heavenly Palace behind the Southern Heavenly Gate was filled with immortal energy. However, I smelled a hint of blood inside.

Something was amiss in this Heavenly Court.

Li Jing and Nezha stood at the Southern Heavenly Gate for a while, then turned around and left the Heavenly Court, heading straight for the mortal world.

I followed them and saw that they went straight to a small village in Xiniuhezhou.

Nezha hovered in the air on his Wind-Fire Wheels, while the heavily injured Li Jing landed in the village, and his body began to swell and grow.

After his armor burst open, countless eyes grew all over Li Jing's body.

Snakes crawled out of the pupils of his eyes and surged into the village.

In an instant, the village was submerged by the snake swarm.

More than a thousand villagers perished in the village.

Looking at the "Nezha" and "Li Jing" in the village, anger welled up within me.

This was no longer the celestial beings of the Heavenly Court. They were demons who had taken over their bodies!
