"Hoo!"

I suddenly opened my eyes, and my vision quickly cleared up!

"Little White Dragon..."

"I'm fine."

Before my Second Senior Brother could say anything, I waved my hand lightly, quickly calming down and swiftly reviewing the previous cycle.

Now I know most of the secrets of the Reincarnation Game in Ling Mountain!

The Tathagata is the culprit!

Using some kind of method, he turned Ling Mountain into a bloody demonic nest!

All the Buddhas in the sky have become his puppets...

Now that the four of us have entered his sect, we are trapped in an awkward situation where we can't defeat him and can't escape!

"Senior Brother said we still have a chance, so he asked me to find Master..."

I took a deep breath and speculated in my heart.

Yes, if there really is someone in this world who can find flaws in the Tathagata, then Master must be one of them.

After all, Master had been by the side of the Tathagata for countless eons. Could it be that he really didn't notice anything strange about the Tathagata back then?

And... why didn't the Tathagata devour Master at that time, but chose to wait until now?

Perhaps only Master can give me the answers to all these questions!

Soon, I used the same delaying tactics to buy time and honestly told Master and the others about the outcome of the previous round.

"You said... the Tathagata is the culprit?!"

My eldest senior brother stood up suddenly, his eyes burning with a fiery light as he turned to look at Master, seemingly wanting to interrogate him.

Even my Second Senior Brother and Sand Monk fell silent at this moment, just silently looking at Master.

"So that's how it is."

Hearing my answer, Master's gaze became incredibly complex. Then, a trace of relief appeared.

He slowly stood up, softly saying:

"Do you know why I willingly gave up the fruit of Buddhahood in the past?"

We shook our heads gently, waiting for Master to continue.

"People think that I did it to experience all aspects of being a mortal, but if that's the case, I could have sealed myself. There was no need to give it up."

Master seemed to recall something and said softly:

"If I'm not mistaken, within my fruit of Buddhahood, there are probably some memories that I don't want to recall or that I don't want Him to perceive.

"But in the end, escaping was useless."

As he spoke, strands of Buddha light appeared on his fingertips. Those were the lights from the fruit of Buddhahood, suppressed to the extreme by Master!

Because he actively concealed his aura and had a barrier covering him, he didn't let that culprit perceive it.

It only took a moment. When Master opened his eyes again, he said softly:

"I... remember now.

"The journey to the West was to bring back the fruit of Buddhahood to the Eastern Land; the True Scripture is the demon seed of that culprit!

"He used Buddhist teachings to weave false illusions, drawing sentient beings into the game, and kept it for me, also to pass the demon seed to the Eastern Land!

"He... wants to devour heaven and earth!

"Little White Dragon... you are the variable!

"You... are the only hope!"

At this point, Master suddenly walked to my side. Golden light flashed in his eyes, along with a hint of pity!

As someone who had accompanied the Buddha for countless eons, no one knew better than him the pressure of facing that culprit, even to the extent of sealing away his own memories!

"Me?"

I was filled with confusion and didn't know how to bear such a tremendous responsibility.

I looked at my eldest senior brother, Second Senior Brother, and Sand Monk. Which one of them didn't possess extraordinary abilities? I was just a mere White Dragon. How could I possibly fight against such a culprit!

That's the... Tathagata Buddha!

"Little White Dragon... remember, that culprit feeds on fear. The more you fear, the stronger he becomes!

"You don't need to confront him head-on! Wewill find a way to weaken him, to create an opportunity for you to strike!"

Master's voice was filled with determination, his eyes filled with a mixture of regret and hope.

"But... what can I do?"

I couldn't help but ask. I felt overwhelmed and unprepared for the enormity of the task ahead.

"You have the power of purity and innocence, Little White Dragon," Master said softly. "Your presence alone can disrupt the dark energies that surround the Tathagata. Your innocence is his weakness."

"But how can I use that to defeat him?" I asked, my voice trembling slightly.

Master smiled gently, his eyes filled with warmth.

"You don't have to defeat him alone, Little White Dragon. That's where we come in. We will work together to weaken him, to expose his true nature, and then you will strike with all your might, using the power of innocence to deliver the final blow."

His words filled me with a renewed sense of purpose and determination. I realized that I wasn't alone in this fight, that I had the support and guidance of my Master and my fellow disciples.

Together, we would face the Tathagata and bring an end to his reign of darkness.

And so, our training began. Master taught us ancient techniques and shared his wisdom with us. We honed our skills and prepared ourselves for the ultimate battle.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. Time seemed to both fly by and stand still as we delved deeper into our training.

Finally, the day of reckoning arrived. We stood before the entrance to Ling Mountain, ready to confront the Tathagata and bring an end to his malevolence.

As we stepped inside, the air grew heavy with dark energy. The once serene and peaceful mountain had transformed into a twisted and nightmarish realm.

But we were not deterred. We pressed forward, our hearts filled with determination and hope.

And in the midst of the chaos and darkness, I held on to the power of purity and innocence, knowing that it would be my greatest weapon.

Together, we would face the Tathagata and restore balance to the world.

For we were the disciples of the Dragon Master, and our resolve was unyielding.
