That day, I was lying on the grass, sunbathing, when Buddha suddenly came over and asked me, "Nephew, what do you want?"

I am a great roc bird, my mother is a phoenix, and I have a sister who is a peacock. In my early years, before Buddha became the Buddha, he was practicing in the mortal world. My sister didn't recognize Buddha back then, so she swallowed him in one gulp. Buddha cut open my sister's belly and crawled out from inside. He originally intended to harm my sister, but he was dissuaded by others and ended up recognizing my sister as the Great Peacock King and me as his uncle.

Every time Buddha sees me, he treats me as his nephew, whether there are people around or not, even in front of all the Buddhas of the Western Heaven. He often sends people to serve me and tells them that I am his uncle.

Now, Buddha has come to me again, standing in front of me, looking at me lying on the ground, and asking me what else I want.

I said, "I need you to stay away from me a bit and stop blocking my sunlight."

Upon hearing my words, Buddha paused for a moment, and then I sat up, laughed heartily, and said to him, "I don't need anything."

In the Western Heaven, the offerings and incense are at my disposal. If Buddha obtains anything strange and interesting, he will think of coming to give it to me.

"But I just blocked the sunlight from shining on you." Buddha looked at me and said, "As your uncle, shouldn't I apologize?"

I sighed and lay back on the ground, saying, "Then please, Buddha, help me up."

Buddha smiled slightly and helped me up.

I said, "Why are you so free today, coming to me?"

"Actually..." Buddha looked at me, wanting to speak but feeling somewhat embarrassed.

"What's wrong?"

"I want to build a Lion Camel Ridge." Buddha said to me, "But I can't find the right person to help me."

"You want me to help you, just say it!"

"It's hard to say..." Buddha said, "You are my uncle, and if you want to help me, you have to descend to the mortal realm as a monster."

"What do I care about?" I didn't mind, "I often descend to the mortal realm, as you know. I've been a fish in the Northern Sea, a kun traversing the Four Seas, a bird soaring in the south and north. Descending to the mortal realm is easy for me. Even if you don't let me help you, I often descend to the mortal realm. What's the big deal?"

"This time is different from before." Buddha's expression became serious, and he looked worried, "I want you to gather all the monsters in the mortal realm and establish a Lion Camel Ridge, then protect all those weak monsters!"

When Buddha first came to me, he didn't tell me that he wanted to build the Lion Camel Ridge for the sake of Tang Sanzang's merit. If he had told me back then that it was for the sake of treating these monsters as Tang Sanzang's merit, I wouldn't have agreed even if you killed me.

Seeing that I agreed to his proposal, Buddha narrowed his eyes, smiled, and said to me, "I still have one more worry."

"What are you worried about?"

"In the earlier years, a stone monkey suddenly emerged in the Dongsheng Shenzhou, named Sun Wukong. This person has great power and is on par with Yang Jian. For you, he should also be a formidable character. Although you occasionally descend to the mortal realm, you have long been in the Western Heaven and don't understand the situation in the mortal realm. I'm worried that you will be harmed by those monsters in the mortal realm while controlling the hundred monsters!"

Hearing this, I laughed heartily and said, "You don't have to worry about that. Even the monsters of the Heavenly Court and the Western Heaven Buddhas would find it difficult to defeat me. Let me tell you, I am swift in action and have only one weakness. If they don't know my weakness, they will never be able to defeat me."

"But what if they discover your weakness?"

"It's unlikely." I said, "Only the Great Peacock King, who shares the same mother with me, knows my weakness."

"Have you told herabout this plan?"

"No, I haven't," I replied. "I'm not sure how she would react to it."

Buddha nodded and said, "I understand. It's better to keep it a secret for now. Once everything is in place, we can reveal the plan to her."

I agreed with Buddha's suggestion and assured him that I would take care of gathering the monsters and establishing the Lion Camel Ridge. Buddha thanked me and said he would provide assistance whenever needed.

With Buddha's departure, I started my journey to the mortal realm. I traveled far and wide, visiting different regions and gathering monsters along the way. I explained the purpose of the Lion Camel Ridge to them and emphasized the importance of protecting the weaker creatures.

As I encountered various monsters, some were eager to join the cause, while others were skeptical. It took time to convince them, but gradually, more and more monsters agreed to be part of the Lion Camel Ridge. They saw the potential for unity and protection within this alliance.

Together, we established the Lion Camel Ridge in a remote mountainous area. It served as a sanctuary for monsters, where they could live without fear of persecution and find solace among their own kind. We implemented rules and regulations to maintain order and harmony within the Ridge.

Over time, the reputation of the Lion Camel Ridge spread, and more monsters sought refuge there. It became a symbol of hope and solidarity for creatures that were once considered outcasts.

As for my encounter with Sun Wukong, the stone monkey, it happened later. He was indeed a formidable opponent, but I managed to defeat him using my secret weakness. Surprisingly, instead of harboring grudges, Sun Wukong acknowledged my strength and pledged his loyalty to the Lion Camel Ridge.

The establishment of the Lion Camel Ridge marked a significant milestone in the mortal realm. It showcased the power of unity and acceptance, proving that even monsters could find a sense of belonging and contribute to a greater cause.

As the years passed, the influence of the Lion Camel Ridge continued to grow, and it became a symbol of compassion and protection for all beings.

And so, my journey alongside Buddha and the monsters of the Lion Camel Ridge unfolded, as we strived to create a world where everyone, regardless of their form, could live in harmony.
