'So what should we do now?' Dad asked.

'Mom and Dad, you don't need to worry about this. My sister and I will handle it,' I replied.

After saying that, my sister grabbed my hand, and we went out.

Before leaving, she gestured towards our parents' room, and suddenly, a golden pattern surrounded their room like a cage.

My sister explained to me, 'This is a protective barrier for Mom and Dad. With this, we don't have to worry about their safety.'

I nodded. Although Mom and Dad had their own self-defense abilities, having an additional layer of protection eased my mind.

Through the telescope, I saw a man and a woman standing at the entrance of our villa.

They seemed to be examining the villa with curious expressions, and there were no strange creatures around them.

I recognized their faces.

They were the two people I dreamed of, the ones I had a strong desire to kill.

Upon seeing them, my hand trembled uncontrollably.
