The next morning, I sat in the living room early.

My dad also woke up early and didn't have breakfast because he had something urgent to attend to at the company.

He greeted me when he saw me sitting in the living room and hurriedly left.

As I watched my dad walk towards the black car, I suddenly remembered the words on the notebook.

I felt uneasy and immediately called out to my dad.

I made up a reason for him to take the white car to work.

My dad probably thought I wanted to use the black car and didn't think much of it, so he changed to the white car and left.

After a while, around seven-thirty, my mom and sister came to the living room one after another.

My sister found it strange to see me waiting in the living room so early:

"Sister, why did you wake up so early today? Usually, you wake up around the same time as me, right?"

Our family always had breakfast together at around seven-thirty in the morning.

The nanny had already prepared breakfast, and we all had it together.

I didn't want to hide anything, so I told the truth:

"I don't know why, but I have a feeling of unease today. When I saw dad planning to take the black car this morning, I felt really anxious."

"So I asked dad to switch to the white car. Mom, why don't we have someone come and check the black car?"

I looked at my mom as I said that.

My mom was a bit stunned when she heard me and took a moment to think:

"Alright, it's been a while since we last had the black car checked. I'll have Uncle Li come over and take a look later."

Seeing my mom considering my opinion, I immediately looked at my sister:

"Ayan, you have a classmate's birthday party tonight. How about not going?"

"I have this feeling of restlessness today, as if something is going to happen."

I made up my mind that if my sister didn't listen to me and insisted on going out, I would find a way to keep her at home.

I knew that what was written in that notebook was likely fake.

But even if there was the slightest possibility of danger, I couldn't let my sister go out.

Upon hearing this, my sister was also stunned for a moment, then made a phone call:

"Li Qiu, I'm sorry but I can't come to your birthday party today."

"I'm really sorry. I'll make it up to you with your birthday gift later."

After hanging up the phone, my sister looked at me:

"Okay, sister, I won't go out today. I'll stay at home with you."

Seeing that my sister didn't misunderstand me, her eyes turned slightly red.

I couldn't help but feel grateful. Even though my biological parents didn't want me and left me at the orphanage after I was born.

But after I was adopted by my foster parents, they and my sister have been incredibly kind to me.

They have made me feel a sense of family that I had never experienced before.

So I must protect this hard-earned family bond.
