The next morning, I sat in the living room early.

My dad also got up early and didn't have breakfast because he had something urgent to attend to at the company.

He greeted me when he saw me sitting in the living room and hurriedly left.

As I saw my dad heading towards the black car, I suddenly remembered the words in my notebook.

I felt anxious and immediately called out to my dad.

I gave him a reason to drive the white car to work.

My dad probably thought I wanted to use the black car, so he didn't think much of it and changed to the white car and left.

After a while, around seven-thirty, my mom and sister came to the living room one after another.

My sister found it strange to see me in the living room so early:

"Sister, why did you wake up so early today? Aren't you usually up around the same time as me?"

Our family always had breakfast together at a fixed time, around seven-thirty in the morning.

The nanny had already prepared breakfast, and we all had it together.

I didn't want to hide anything, so I told the truth:

"I don't know why, but I have a feeling of unease today. When I saw Dad planning to drive the black car this morning, I felt very anxious."

"So I asked Dad to switch to the white car. Mom, why not have someone come and inspect the black car."

I looked at Mom as I said that.

Mom paused for a moment when she heard me, and she thought about it:

"That's a good idea. The black car hasn't been checked in a while. I'll have Uncle Li come and take a look later."

I looked at Mom listening to my suggestion, and I immediately looked at my sister:

"Ayan, you have a classmate's birthday party tonight. Maybe you shouldn't go."

"I have a feeling that something is going to happen today."

I made up my mind that if my sister didn't listen to me and insisted on going out, I would find a way to keep her at home.

I knew that what was written in that notebook was likely fake.

But even if there was the slightest possibility of danger, I couldn't let my sister go out.

Upon hearing this, my sister paused for a moment and then made a phone call:

"Li Qiu, I'm sorry, but I can't come to your birthday party today."

"I'm really sorry. I'll make it up to you with your birthday gift later."

After hanging up the phone, my sister looked at me:

"Alright, sister. I won't go out today. I'll stay at home with you."

When I saw that my sister didn't misunderstand me, her eyes became slightly teary.

I couldn't help but feel grateful. Although my biological parents didn't want me after I was born and left me at the orphanage.

But after being adopted by my foster parents, they and my sister have treated me extremely well.

They have made me feel a sense of family that I had never experienced before.

So I must protect this hard-earned family bond.
