"Lu Qing, did you see those sisters today?"

It's strange, I haven't seen them since I woke up this morning.

"No, the villa is so big, they probably went somewhere to play."

Lu Qing is right, this place is so big, they might have found some fun place and didn't want to come back.

I didn't dwell on it.

"I know there's a hot spring pool in the backyard, let's go soak in the hot spring," Lu Qing suggested.

"Sure."

When we arrived, we found out that the hot spring pool was inside a cave.

The cave was dimly lit, surrounded by mist, and it was all white, with very low visibility.

I wanted to tell her, let's stay close, or we might get separated later, after all, this cave is not small.

"Wow, it's so warm and comfortable here," Lu Qing's eyes were shining, and she rushed into the white mist.

I was a step behind and didn't hold onto her.

"Lu Qing, Lu Qing?"

I called several times but got no response, so I stepped forward.

"Who is my sister looking for?" My shoulder was suddenly tapped, and I turned my head to see the little girl from before, smiling at me.

No wonder I didn't see her all day, she was hiding here in the hot spring.

"Your sister who came with you is over there." She grabbed my hand and wanted to walk deeper into the hot spring.

It was just the beginning of autumn, and the weather wasn't too cold. It was warm inside the cave, but her hand holding mine was unusually cold.

"Why is your hand so cold?"

She paused for a moment when she heard my words, quickly withdrew her hand, and her eyes looked evasive. "Ah, maybe I didn't wear enough clothes. Let's walk faster."

The cave was filled with water, and the path was slippery, making it difficult to walk.

"Slow down."

But she seemed not to have heard me and walked faster.

I lost my balance and fell hard.

As I was about to pick myself up from the ground, I was stunned by what I saw, and my breath caught.

The little girl in front of me had her heels never touching the ground.

She was floating!

A wave of fear surged through me.

"You're here, I've been looking for you for a long time." I shouted loudly behind the girl.

While she turned her head, I exerted all my strength and ran outward.

"Sister, you're lying to me, there's no one behind!"

"Come over, come with me!"

Let me pass and go with you to die?

I automatically blocked out her words and ran forward without looking back.

But the voice behind me was getting closer...
