I invited the best granny in the village who is skilled in medicine.

The granny walks slowly, and I'm extremely anxious along the way, wishing I could carry her and run.

"Granny, please hurry. My sister can't wait."

The granny breathes heavily, "Nier, I'm already eighty this year. How can I compare to you young people..."

"First, wipe off the nosebleed. I've been looking at it all the way here. Does it hurt?"

I suddenly cover my nose, "It's okay, my sister's situation is more important."

I quickly drag her into our house.

"Granny, please take a look at my sister's leg."

I uncover the blanket, my sister's fair leg is covered in mottled bruises, and the broken part is swollen and bruised, with shades of green and purple.

It's much worse than when I left home.

The granny leans over and carefully examines it.

"It's already broken like this. The bone is about to pierce through the flesh. I can't handle it here. Quickly take her to the hospital."

While speaking, she helps fix my sister's leg. "Where are the adults in your family? Call them over for help!"

I stand there dumbfounded, anxiously twiddling my fingers.

My mom and brother are still busy. I can't bring myself to say those words.

My sister blinks her teary eyes and anxiously pleads, "Little sister, aren't Mom and Brother at home? Go quickly and call them!"

The granny urges as well, "I can't leave right now. If you can't explain it clearly, bring the adults from your family, and I'll talk to them."

"This is a serious matter. It could affect the rest of her life."

I nod hastily, "Okay..."

My sister's shrill voice rises, overpowering me, "Little sister, go quickly! Why are you dawdling?"

"Are you trying to harm me? Don't you want my leg to get better?"

"If you keep procrastinating, I'll be disabled for the rest of my life!"
