My leg is definitely incurable. The best outcome is for me to become a cripple.

So how can I escape? How can I leave this cage?

I feel like the future is distant, making me anxious and scared.

My mother hasn't given up on my last bit of utility.

My leg is broken, but my uterus is fine. I'm still a woman, capable of giving birth.

I cried and begged my mother, saying that I don't want to be a burden to her and that I'm willing to have a child to repay her for raising me all these years.

But I want to go home and take a chance on finding my biological parents.

Even though I can't remember what they look like.

There's no need to burden my mother with one more dependent. Naturally, she agreed happily.

I also felt relieved, perhaps I will have a different future.

My sister said my leg started to smell bad and insisted that I open it up and take a look.

I didn't believe it. I didn't smell anything at all.

But their expressions didn't seem fake. I was genuinely scared.

I wanted to get pregnant and have a child quickly, to leave this place as soon as possible.

That way, I can find another place to treat my leg.

At the very least, I want to be able to stand up, right?

My brother is still as rude as ever. He pinched my leg so hard that he made a hole in it.

Strange, I don't actually feel any pain.

Maggots have already formed inside the gauze, and I can see bones in the worst area.

This isn't my leg! It's definitely not my leg!

My brother said, "If you don't want it, then forget it."

He sat on top of me, firmly pressing me down, and used a saw to cut off my leg.

I didn't feel anything in my legs, no pain.

I just felt cold.

He threw my legs on the ground, then lifted me up and placed me on his waist.

"Ah, this is how it should be. A woman should be legless."

The bed is wet and sticky, covered in my blood.

I sway along with him, unable to clearly see his grimacing face.

"Sister, please don't die, I beg you!"

"I'll take you to the police, I'll take you to the hospital."

I stared at my sister's crying face, and with all my strength, I choked her neck.

"Why, isn't it you?"
