To survive, I have to work several jobs.

In the morning, I work at a breakfast shop near the city riverbank. Many people pass by in the morning, and many people exercise, so the business is good and busy every day.

There are many people, and there are only two of us in the shop, me and the boss. Sometimes, I can't handle the workload. At first glance of Mr. Shen, I almost didn't recognize him.

Today, he is wearing casual clothes and looks like he came out to exercise in the morning and came to buy breakfast.

He's not wearing glasses, and his hair is smooth and falls to cover his forehead. The casual clothes make him look young and energetic.

No, actually, he's not that old to begin with, probably less than thirty years old.

It's just that he was wearing a suit last night, composed and elegant. There is a big difference between the impression he gave then and now.

Now I remember, I've seen him before. Occasionally, he would appear nearby in the morning and then buy breakfast on the way.

But amidst the hustle and bustle, like most people, he casually ordered simple soy milk and steamed buns and left. I didn't really remember much, except for his beautiful appearance.

I packed his meal for him, but couldn't help but think: Although I have a plain face early in the morning, which is very different from the exposed makeup I had last night, will he recognize me?

I handed him the meal with some nervousness. He took out his phone to scan the QR code for payment, looked up at me, and said, "Thank you."

There was nothing special about it. He remained calm and unaffected, and I couldn't tell if he recognized me or not.

Maybe he did recognize me but chose not to acknowledge it.

Perhaps he never expected that a diligent female worker in a small breakfast shop would be mingling in the nightlife. I couldn't help but smile at myself mockingly.

He turned and left. Honestly, it's a relief that he didn't reveal anything.

In the first place, we were strangers, and what happened last night was just a small episode. It's better for both of us to pretend it never happened.
