"Huh? What's wrong?"

Lin Chezhi followed my gaze and squinted his eyes.

"Is that guy in the photo on your desk?"

"Damn it, Xia'an, you've been cheated on!"

"Shut up!"

I glared at him and gulped down the drink in my glass.

He let out a relieved laugh. "I knew you were crying so sadly. Turns out you've had a breakup. Ah, there are plenty of fish in the sea. Let me introduce you to a handsome and wealthy guy!"

"Get lost!"

I slammed the glass heavily on the table, and my mood, which had just improved, worsened again.

"I'm not drinking anymore. Let's go. Put the watch on my desk tomorrow."

"Damn it, you have no gratitude! I just saved you from the street!"

"Who asked for your help? Mind your own business."

"Why do you bite the hand that feeds you?"

He grabbed my arm and started acting like a rascal, his eyes filled with youthful spirit.

He smirked at me smugly.

He was so smug for no reason.

"Let go of me!"

"Not letting go!"

I grew annoyed and turned around to pry his hand off. Damn bastard, I couldn't budge him at all. He was incredibly strong.

As I struggled, I suddenly heard Mu Zining's voice from behind, "An Zhi?"

I froze, about to turn around.

But Lin Chezhi used force, causing me to fall directly into his arms and pinning him down on the sofa.

Thank goodness I held on, or else I would have almost kissed him.

But he became even more pleased, smirking back at me like a mischievous child who succeeded in his prank.

How childish!

"An Zhi! Let go of me!"

The next second, someone grabbed my shoulder, yanking me up forcefully, causing my shoulder to ache.

Immediately after, I saw Mu Zining's furious face. "An Zhi! Are you shameless or what?!"
