Before my malicious words could be spoken, Lu Siyan approached and hugged me, his voice trembling:

"Shen Jingyu, why?"

My head rested against his chest, listening to his deafening heartbeat.

My eyes were sore, but I couldn't burden him.

I took a deep breath, and the next moment, I pushed Lu Siyan away coldly:

"I don't want your pity. Even if I die, it has nothing to do with you!

"Lu Siyan, get lost! I never liked you, never!"

I threw everything within reach, pillows, vases, water cups, all onto the floor.

Lu Siyan remained motionless, silently watching me go mad.

The ward was in complete chaos, and I myself was a mess, but only Lu Siyan remained calm.

The sunlight divided the ward into light and darkness.

He stood in the light while I hid in the shadows.

Whether it was six years ago or now.

I firmly pulled out the IV tube and got off the hospital bed.

"Shen Jingyu, have you caused enough trouble?" Lu Siyan bypassed the mess and stopped me. "Do you know how serious your illness is?"

"You can't possibly still care about me." I couldn't help but laugh. "Lu Siyan, you're really despicable!"

"Four years ago, if you had said that, I would have wanted to strangle you. Now, I don't want to argue with someone who's about to die." Lu Siyan settled me back onto the bed and had the nurse reinsert the IV.

I didn't cooperate at all, and my entire hand was covered in fresh blood.

"Can't you behave?" Lu Siyan half squatted in front of me, cleaning the bloodstains. "Can't you behave, please?"

I could see he was on the edge of anger, and I smirked.

"Fine, you go out. I don't want to see you."
