I had no idea what happened. It happened right in front of my eyes, and when I recovered, the floor was a mess.

They were all sprawled on the ground like blood-soaked noodles, emitting a suffocating smell. I couldn't hold it in and ran into the bathroom to vomit.

The things in the toilet suddenly turned into bloody chunks and flushed away automatically. The overwhelming smell of blood made me hold my breath.

When I looked up, I saw Liu Lin standing stiffly next to the toilet, staring at me. I completely lost my temper and became immune.

I stayed in the restroom for a while to gather myself. Then, reluctantly, I prepared to clean up the mess outside. However, they had all disappeared?

Even the meals I made and the overturned table had returned to their original state, as if nothing had happened.

I had a terrible headache and felt extremely uncomfortable. Following the rules, I recorded the condition of my body on the whiteboard and marked the places where strange things had occurred.

Although I didn't know what good it would do, I considered it a reminder to myself.

At 1 a.m., I had to inspect under the bed, the ceilings of each room, and behind the doors for any abnormalities.

There was nothing unusual in the bathroom tonight, but the door and under the bed were creepy. There were blood-red handprints on them and marks that looked like scratches.

It was as if someone had been hiding under the bed and was dragged out, leaving behind bloodstains from struggling.

And in the hidden corner behind the door panel, there was even a small row of blood-red words: "Don't let him catch you taking medicine."

I didn't know what kind of story this haunted house had, but every exploration of this place made me more horrified.

Because this place seemed like an ordinary residence, but everywhere there were traces left by someone struggling to survive, someone who had hidden under the bed, who had hidden behind the door, searching for a glimmer of hope in this eerie house.

Even in the basement, there were traces of attempts to pry open the doors and windows to escape.

In the edge of the basement bed, I saw roughly carved words: "He will return at five o'clock, don't let him know you've been to the basement."

"Hide the key well, he will snatch it away."

Who left all these? The person who died in this house? Or Liu Lin?

My situation was probably no different from theirs, so all the traces they left seemed like a lifeline for me.

Perhaps there's a secret hidden here that can help me leave safely.

I didn't find the key in the basement, but time was up. I had to leave and check the corridor. It was gloomy here, even when the moonlight shone in, it appeared pale and desolate.

A figure hung there, gently swaying in the wind. Without any surprise, it was indeed Liu Lin.

I saw his face, but there was no emotional response in my heart. I walked past him directly. Right now, all I wanted was to find some useful clues quickly and leave this haunted place.

Those writings undoubtedly gave me the greatest hope. Unfortunately, apart from a few bloodstains left behind from dragging, there were no useful discoveries in the corridor.

The woman in the red dress didn't appear either. After completing all the inspections, I had to return to bed and rest.

I couldn't help but recall the events of the day. The sound of "Yang Yang" made me feel uncomfortable. Something was off, but I couldn't find the reason.
