In front of me was a gentle woman, sitting in the seat of the interrogation room. Her eyes sparkled as she looked at me and said, "What you saw just now, all came from the depths of your subconscious mind after I hypnotized you."

I remained silent.

I pondered her words silently, allowing my thoughts to immerse in the recent experience.

The woman spoke softly, gently. She briefly explained to me, "I saw the statement you submitted to the police."

Then she stared into my eyes and confirmed with me:

"You said you had a bizarre dream in which a strange female squad leader chased you to kill you. In the process, you saw a twin sister who looked exactly like her." The woman paused her words, seemingly waiting for my reaction. "Is that right?"

I could only nod.

She took a deep breath. "I know you've been unwilling to admit it."

"But the female squad leader who appeared in your dream is your sister—Nan Li."

"Impossible!" I shouted angrily at her. "How many times do I have to say it? I am Nan Li!"

"Alright, alright, you are Nan Li," she tried to appease me, but then forcefully brought me into her perspective. "In your dream, there was a girl who always helped you escape from danger. She is Nan Li's sister, named Nan Tao."

But what does this have to do with me? I don't know them.

The woman looked at me.
