"Doctor, wake up!"

I heard a noisy mechanical sound in my ears.

"You're really lucky. The chemical concentration in your blood was very high. You almost didn't wake up."

The nurse excitedly announced the good news of my awakening.

I heard the doctor telling me that my parents were anxiously waiting outside the intensive care unit and had not slept all night.

Has it been a whole night already?

I had a headache accompanied by vomiting, but I was too weak to do anything except think about one question in a daze.

Did I wake up for the first time in the laboratory? Or is it in this ICU?

After my vital signs gradually stabilized, the doctor removed the tube from my throat, and I could finally speak:

"Doctor, the girl who came with me just now, is she still in a coma?"

His expression froze: "You have a good physical condition. You're not fully awake from anesthesia yet, but you can remember these things." The doctor seemed to know what I was concerned about. "Don't worry, she's fine. Thanks to you, who provided ventilation in time, her life was saved."
