I wrote down all the rules and then said, "I speculate that the school we are in right now doesn't actually exist. Perhaps it's a barrier, or maybe it's a different dimension. And it seems that this space is governed by rules. To leave here, we must break certain key rules."

"Which rules are key?" Wang Jiayi asked.

I said, "1. If a rule is added to the classroom, the person who added the rule must delete another rule voluntarily. This is for the teaching building. 2. No entry to the cafeteria after midnight. This is for the cafeteria. 3. Do not accept red invitations and absolutely do not leave the dormitory building after midnight. This is for the dormitory. Among them, we have already broken the first rule in the teaching building, which is why we are still alive, so we can exclude that rule."

Wang Jiayi nodded and asked, "I think there might be some connection between the rule in the cafeteria and the last rule in the dormitory."

Zhang Shiyun said, "Yes, logically, if we are not allowed to leave the dormitory after midnight, why would someone go to the cafeteria at that time? There might be something suspicious about it." Li Yingying added.

I nodded and said, "Yes, that's what I think too. It seems like someone intentionally doesn't want us to leave the dormitory after midnight and especially doesn't want us to approach the cafeteria at that time."

"But what is that red invitation?" Wang Jiayi asked.

"Could it be related to the ghost wedding that happens at night in the dormitory?" Zhang Shiyun said.

"Ghost wedding? Ghost wedding..."

When Zhang Shiyun mentioned it, everything suddenly became clear to me.

"I understand, I finally understand! Hahaha!" I burst into laughter.

"What do you understand? Tell us quickly! Stop being secretive," Wang Jiayi urged.

I said, "Have you all forgotten? Where did the ghost wedding procession that appears after midnight leave from and which direction did they head towards?"

They thought for a moment, and Li Yingying spoke first, "They went through the wall outside our dormitory corridor and headed towards the cafeteria, right?"

"Exactly. The reason they don't want us to leave the dormitory after midnight and don't want us to go to the cafeteria is because they don't want us to participate in the wedding procession. And to participate in the wedding, what do you think we need?"

After exchanging glances, they all said at the same time, "An invitation!"

I clapped excitedly and said, "Exactly, that's why they made the rule forbidding us from accepting the red invitation!"

Wang Jiayi asked, "So, if we accept the red invitation and enter the cafeteria after midnight, can we leave this haunted place?"

I said, "In theory, yes, but..."

"But what?" Wang Jiayi asked.

I said, "But we must grasp the precise timing."

"Precise timing?" Wang Jiayi looked puzzled.

Li Yingying said, "You mean we have to follow the footsteps of the ghost wedding procession and reach the cafeteria?"

I nodded slightly.

Zhang Shiyun said, "But the ghost wedding procession captures people's souls. The four people in the neighboring dormitory became like zombies because of that. So what about us..."

I said, "That's the key."

I said, "Based on what has happened before, the ghost wedding procession captures the souls of people who block their way. It seems to be a task assigned to them by the rules. If we want to follow their footsteps and remain safe, there is only one way."

"What way?" they all asked together.

"Finding a scapegoat," I said.

"A scapegoat? Do you want other students to be the scapegoat? Guan Xin, although we want to leave this place, it's not right," Wang Jiayi looked at me.

I said, "Jiayi, don't worry, I would never do anything that harms others. Even if we were to find a scapegoat, it wouldn't be our fellow students."

"Then who are you talking about? Stop being secretive," Wang Jiayi said.

I smirked, "Have you all forgotten that there are still two people in our dormitory who canpotentially be considered scapegoats?"

They looked at each other and then it clicked in their minds.

"You mean the two people who are already like zombies?" Li Yingying asked.

I nodded, "Yes, exactly. Since they are already in that state, it's possible that the ghost wedding procession won't target them anymore. If we can somehow use them to block the procession's path, we might be able to follow their footsteps safely and reach the cafeteria."

"But how do we make them block the path?" Zhang Shiyun asked.

I said, "We need to come up with a plan to manipulate their movements. If we can control them or guide them in the right direction, we can ensure they become the scapegoats without causing harm to anyone else."

Wang Jiayi crossed her arms and pondered for a moment. Then, she said, "I think I have an idea. If we can find a way to trigger their senses, maybe we can guide them unconsciously. It could be something that grabs their attention and makes them follow a certain path."

We all turned to Wang Jiayi, intrigued by her proposal.

"What kind of trigger?" I asked.

Wang Jiayi smiled mischievously, "What if we use music? We know that the two zombies were musicians before. If we play a specific tune or melody that resonates with them, it might lead them in a particular direction."

"That's a brilliant idea!" Li Yingying exclaimed.

Zhang Shiyun added, "Yes, it's worth a try. We can gather some musical instruments from the music classroom and experiment with different melodies to see if any of them elicit a response from the two zombies."

I nodded in agreement, "Let's do it. We don't have much time left. We need to act quickly and find a way to escape this haunted school. Wang Jiayi, lead the way to the music classroom."

With newfound determination, we ventured into the unknown, hoping that our plan would succeed and lead us to freedom.
